Mimic's Research Partners
The Research Partner Program was introduced in 2007 and has been instrumental in providing Mimic with invaluable feedback from leading institutions in North America, Europe, and Asia. To be eligible for Mimic's Research Partner Program, an institution must have experience utilizing surgery simulators, have faculty that regularly teach da Vinci ® operation, and/or own multiple da Vinci ® systems that are heavily utilized.
Partner Benefits
- Product Discounts
- Extended Warranty and Service Plan
- Training Event and Study Support
- Beta previews of new Mimic simulation products
Research Partner Meetings
Every other year, Mimic sponsors a dinner for our research partners where users get together to present their research in the fields of robotics, simulation, and training. This event is also intended to encourage future collaborations and multi-institutional studies. To view the presentations given at last year's dinner (AUA, Chicago 2009), click here.
